Stephanie was a daughter, a sister (times 5), a sister-in-law, a tia to Dominic and Mikaela, a granddaughter, a girlfriend, a niece, a cousin, a best friend and friend to many, a baby-whisperer and puppy-sitter, a caregiver and future nurse, an office manager, a hairstylist, an artist, a photographer, a free spirit, a dancer, a flower child and our moon child.
She was one-of-a-kind. Stephanie was a beautiful, beautiful human being. Her inner-beauty perfectly matched her outer-beauty. She was kind and loving, witty and funny, so smart, sensitive, humble and silly. She knew how to have fun and always made sure the people around her had a good time. She was happy, genuine, selfless and strong. She was nurturing, cariñosa, easy-going and understanding. She was wise beyond her years and always knew what she wanted and went after it.
If you were lucky enough to have spoken to Steph even once – you immediately saw that inner-beauty shine through and you were hooked. She was a ray of sunshine. A beam of light. A positive force that left a loving, warm feeling inside anyone she met.
She had the biggest heart and there’s no question she would’ve made the BEST nurse. Stephanie has left us too soon and our hearts ache in ways we never knew possible. A part of each of us is gone and the void she left behind will never be filled. Although we cannot understand why she was taken from us so soon, we feel at peace knowing that at such a young age she fulfilled her purpose here.
She leaves us with the greatest example of love, selflessness and service which we intend to honor with each passing day until we are reunited.
